Burjeel Hospital is not a manufacturing plant. It is an operating-theatre and hospital cleanroom project.

In the UAE, a new pharmaceutical plant is usually a company in a free zone that makes medicines for export.

So the plant is built to the rules of the country the product is shipped to. The country where the medicine is made does not set the design.

The plant documents are written in the format of the regulator in the country the product is shipped to.

The outside air in the Gulf sets the main design task for cleanroom HVAC. HVAC is the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system.

In the Gulf, the main design task is to take moisture out of the air. This is called dehumidification.
