During those unprecedented times, stringent safety protocols became an absolute necessity. To address the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we took innovative measures to protect our team and client alike. A key step involved obtaining special permissions from government authorities, allowing us access to charter air services. Recognizing the critical importance of timely project execution amid widespread service disruptions due to the pandemic, we arranged for our team to travel on chartered flights. This approach provided adequate space for social distancing during travel, enabling us to maintain the highest safety standards and minimize risks associated with crowded commercial flights.

Our commitment to health extended beyond travel logistics. As a team, we diligently adhered to quarantine procedures and regular RT-PCR testing to ensure we could self-monitor and detect any health concerns early on. This proactive approach was a key factor in preventing COVID-19 cases within our ranks, allowing us to consistently meet project timelines without compromising anyone’s health.

Despite significant supply chain delays and government-imposed restrictions in Sri Lanka, our team rose to the challenge, managing disruptions by coordinating closely with local and international suppliers to secure timely deliveries of essential materials and equipment. Our adaptability and meticulous planning enabled us to complete the project within the ambitious one-year timeline.

In addition to the operational challenges, we successfully secured local government approvals for trial batches in the Research & Development (R&D) facility. This critical milestone laid the groundwork for future success and helped streamline the path for new product development within the facility.
